Our Gulfcoast 7s tournament is scheduled for July 12.  On June 26, the club will hold a joint practice at the Postcard Inn (6300 Gulf Blvd., 1.4 miles north of the Undertow.)

7s practice will move to the Postcard Inn where they will be joined by the Old Boys.

To make sure our 7s tournament is a success, we need everyone to pitch in.  Jim Orandash has done a ton of work already & on June 26, we're going to start accepting volunteers to help out with tasks including:

 1. Field set up committee. Will need two fields lined, post holes dug the night before. (Coach Dash worked a posts & pads deal with Sarasota so that we will have two sets.)

2. Tents. We need need one large tent/canopy for food concessions plus another for refs, etc. to hang out.  We probably need a third one for Pelican players.  Volunteers here can avoid most other chores.

3. Need non-players to handle bracket formation, collect rosters, and post scores throughout day

4. Need volunteers to work concessions, including purchase of all food, charcoal, garbage bags plus buying,  loaning or borrowing grills, etc...

5. Need flyers created and handed out to each team for directions to post tourney party location, along with garbage bags to encourage our guests to help handle their trash.

6. Need to order trophies: cup, plate & shield plus something for women's teams

7. Need to have a tournament rules guide drawn up.

Come to the Postcard Inn on June 26 ready to play some touch, enjoy a beverage and volunteer to do your part to help out Coach Dash & your club.
